7 weeks

Baylus is approaching 7 weeks, and she is having a ball! She smiles and laughs, and she loves her new play mat.

Baylus at five 1/2 weeks

Baylus went to the doctor today, and all is well! She smiled and laughed for the doctor and really had a good time. She weighs a little over ten pounds now, and she is more expressive and vocal every day! Here are some newer pictures... I promise to catch her smiling for the camera soon!

Baylus getting adjusted

She's testing the waters...Baylus finally decided to like her bouncy chair for a couple of minutes, and she has also taken to having an occasional afternoon nap on the couch. Baylus sleeps like a champ at night, so the afternoon naps are few and far between. Life at the Schaffler homestead is becoming normal again, albeit a different kind of normal!
